I am a mother to two amazing kiddos entering their tween years; I have two dogs, two kitties, and a hubby.
I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 3 and my dad died when I was 12
I have a brother and sister. My mom is still one of the first people I call every morning.
I am 100% dyslexic, which makes me horrid with grammar but a prodigy with space planning.
I am a PMP-certified project manager who consulted for the DOD for many years before shifting full-time into design. I taught myself CAD which enables me to produce some really kickass 3d renders.
I’ve been designing spaces since I was 8 years old! It started with a Barbie dream house! I pour my heart and soul into each and every project, it’s not just a space. It’s a story to tell.
One of the biggest lessons learned along this journey is how much I love what I do. It takes a team to build the dream, and I am lucky to be working with some of the best in the world.

Meet Shameeka, our Portfolio Manager and organizational powerhouse who keeps our projects, processes, and team running seamlessly behind the scenes. With more than 20 years of experience leading complex programs and coordinating cross-functional teams, she brings exceptional organization, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills to every stage of the design process.
Shameeka works closely with our designers, vendors, and clients to keep projects moving forward – from coordinating project timelines and resources to improving internal workflows and ensuring every detail is thoughtfully managed. Her proactive approach, attention to detail and commitment to excellence help create a smooth, enjoyable experience for both our clients and our team.
Michelle
Client Engagement, Project Manager & Designer
Meet Michelle, our talented project manager who is the driving force behind our satisfied clients. With her exceptional communication skills and keen attention to detail, Michelle is the go-to person for ensuring that our interior design projects are executed flawlessly. Michelle’s extensive experience in project management has equipped her with the tools and techniques needed to manage multiple projects simultaneously. She is a master at keeping track of timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Beyond her technical skills, Michelle has a knack for building strong relationships with our clients. She is always available to listen to their concerns, answer their questions, and provide updates on project progress. Her ability to anticipate their needs and deliver exceptional customer service has resulted in a long list of happy clients.
Michelle is a vital member of our team and an expert at keeping our clients satisfied. We are fortunate to have her leading our projects and ensuring that our clients receive the best possible experience with our interior design firm.
Lizzy
Project Manager & Designer
Lizzy joined LK Designs as a Project Manager, bringing a wealth of experience in digital marketing and project management. She has grown in to the roll as a designer as well specializing in kitchens, baths and laundry rooms. Known for her ability to handle multiple deadlines seamlessly, Lizzy excels in keeping clients comfortable and informed throughout the project lifecycle. Her patience, dedication, and keen eye for design is an invaluable asset to our team.

Senior Office & Client Administrator
Pam serves as LK Design’s dedicated client liaison, bridging the gap between clients and the design team to ensure every project runs seamlessly. With a focus on communication and organization, Pam handles everything from contract coordination and invoicing to providing team support and streamlining internal workflows. She’s known for being responsive and detail-oriented, making her a trusted partner for clients and designers alike.
Before joining LK Design, Pam spent over 25 years in senior leadership roles on Capitol Hill. In that fast-paced environment, she built a reputation for strategic thinking, managing complex initiatives, and keeping teams aligned – all skills she now brings to the design world. As the go-to person for client questions and updates, Pam provides steady support with a calm and thoughtful approach.
